The Lebanese Ministry of Agriculture announced that as of 12 December 2025, the Farmers Registry has recorded remarkable progress, with the total number of registered farmers reaching 70,521 nationwide, reflecting growing confidence in the Ministry’s agricultural policies and support programs

Over the past eight months alone, the registry recorded an increase of approximately 25,000 newly registered farmers, representing around 35% of the total registered farmers and an exceptional growth rate of 55%, as the number rose from about 45,000 to more than 70,000.
